"Balance is the key. In everything you do. Dance all night long and practice yoga the next day. Drink wine but don’t forget your green juice. Eat chocolate when your heart wants it and kale salad when your body needs it. Wear high heels on Saturday and walk barefoot on Sunday. Live high and low. Move and stay still. Embrace all sides of who you are. Be brave, bold, spontaneous, and loud, and let that complement your abilities to find silence, patience, modesty, and peace. Aim for balance. Make your own rules and follow your path and don’t let anybody tell you how to live according to theirs." Rachel Brathen

Temperance and Moderation.

Most of us no longer wake with the dawn, spend the day outdoors and sleep when it's dark.
Maybe we are too occupied with our life's daily struggles we forget to do and appreciate little things in our lives. We burden our lives with Too much drinking, Overthinking, Overreacting versus overstressing, Overspending, Overeating versus Undernourishment, overworking, and so on. These are things that drain our lives with energy that will make us live longer. Work done without rest is a punishment. A dream without an aim and balance in efforts is living with a blurred vision ending in vain.
Eating a balanced diet, having fun, resting, exercising, and socializing are among things we take for granted.
Our lives need to be balanced from what we eat, drink, say, think, and do. The human body can withstand an extra of one kind or another but the fact is that balance in our total lifestyle is important to bettering health and happiness. The book; "The Balanced Life" by M. Joseph Sirgy, discusses how life balance substantially gives personal well-being – defined as life achievement, a prevalence of positive over negative feelings, and the absence of ill-being – and examines techniques to achieve life balance.

Also, it insists that achieving life balance, through utilizing one's thoughts and taking actual effort, will direct to improved personal happiness.

The nature of life is balancing different elements into harmonious existence and functional aspects. Our lives as individuals depend on what we do every day in a way that creates spaces for self-adjusting and improvement. Openness to the natural world can benefit staffers’ minds, personal, prosocial, and bodily vitality. Hence, fixing to balance their lives.

Making adjustments to one's behavior and point of view upon life is a way to maturity as well as easing stressful life situations. When we ignore little things like having enough rest after a hard day, we cause body systems to wear out too early disproportionally.

Always one part that wears out too early wrecks the entire body system because other parts cannot function properly without it. Putting too much stress on one part of life is like putting much stress on a body organ which eventually will wear out causing damage to other parts of the body and even damaging the vital systems that the body depends upon for life support.

The lesson seems to be that as far as Man can regulate his life voluntarily, he should find to equalize stress throughout his being.

"The human body like tires on a car or rug on a floor wears longest when it wears evenly." Dr.Hans Selye.

Too much of a good thing is a bad thing when your health is involved. Common understanding and moderate consumption will bring more benefits than any miracle cure.

Balance is important for good health more importantly when applied in all areas of life will bring many positive advantages such as happiness, gratitude, blessings, high self-esteem, and progress in personal and family life.

At the end, when we know each one of us wants and needs. We can achieve a higher standard of self-discipline and life balance by adjusting ourselves towards situations and needs.
